Staff Writer

Paige St. John is an investigative reporter for the Los Angeles Times based in Northern California. Between projects, she covers wildfires and other mayhem. Her 2011 Pulitzer Prize dealt with the rip-offs and jeopardy of disaster insurance, while her serial killer podcast, Man in the Window, remains available on major platforms. Three years in the weeds (literally) unmasked worker exploitation and death in cannabis and consumer poisoning, winning the Dan Rather Medal for News and Guts, and was a 2023 finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Local Reporting. She combines gumshoe reporting with data analysis and welcomes investigative tips and leaks on important public matters.
