Earthquake: 3.3 quake strikes near The Geysers, Calif.

A shallow magnitude 3.3 earthquake was reported Wednesday evening three miles from The Geysers, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 6:16 p.m. at a depth of 0.6 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 13 miles from Healdsburg, Calif., 14 miles from Clearlake, Calif., 17 miles from Windsor, Calif. and 73 miles from Sacramento.

In the last ten days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
