Earthquake: 3.4 quake strikes near Greenville, Calif.

A shallow magnitude 3.4 earthquake was reported Saturday evening five miles from Greenville, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 11:31 p.m. PDT at a depth of 0 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 24 miles from Susanville, Calif.; 39 miles from Magalia, Calif.; 43 miles from Paradise, Calif.; and 97 miles from Carson City, Nev.
In the last 10 days, there have been no earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
