Body found on beach in Venice

A body was found on the beach in Venice on Thursday morning.
The body, described only as that of a female, was discovered about 6:30 a.m. near the 1500 block of Ocean Front Walk, said Los Angeles Police Officer Sal Ramirez.
Information was not immediately available on the age or name of the person, or her cause of death.
