Denver International Airport locks down after tornado sighting

Denver International Airport was completely shut down for more than 30 minutes and everyone ordered to shelter Monday afternoon after a tornado was spotted nearby.
No flights were allowed to depart or arrive at the airport during that time, a spokesman said.
At 3:40 p.m. PDT, the airport announced the danger had passed and operations were returning to normal.
Everyone in the airport was ordered to emergency shelters until the tornado was gone.
