Baseball: It’s Washington vs. California on Friday

One of the top prep baseball teams in Washington, Puyallup, is coming to town on Friday to play Orange Lutheran in a doubleheader at Hart Park in Orange starting at 4 p.m.

Puyallup is 2-0. Pitcher Christopher Micheles struck out 14 batters in a five-inning game this season.

Orange Lutheran is 6-1, ranked No. 2 by The Times and its pitchers have recorded four shutouts this season.
