Conor Lynch Foundation holds 5K run/walk on Sunday

Nearly 2,000 runners and walkers are expected to participate on Sunday in the fourth annual Run/Walk In Honor of Conor sponsored by the Conor Lynch Foundation.

The event caps off National Teen Driver Safety Week.

Lynch was a cross country runner at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame who was killed in a hit-and-run incident on Oct. 19, 2010.

The run begins at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday at Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks Park. Here’s the link to register.
