MLB playoffs: Rays, Rangers to play Monday tiebreaker

The eyes of the baseball world will be on Texas on Monday, when the Rangers and Tampa Bay Rays play a one-game tiebreaker for the final postseason spot in the American League.
The winner of the Rangers-Rays game advances to another sudden-death game, the wild-card playoff against the Cleveland Indians. The Indians won their 10th consecutive game Sunday, clinching the home field for the AL wild-card game.
As 19 major league teams called it a season Sunday, the playoff picture came into focus for the other 11. Here is the postseason field and schedule:
Monday, AL wild-card tiebreaker, Rays (91-71) at Rangers (91-71).
Tuesday, NL wild-card playoff, Cincinnati Reds (90-72) at Pittsburgh Pirates (94-68).
Wednesday, AL wild-card playoff, Rays-Rangers winner at Indians (92-70).
Thursday, NL division series openers, Dodgers (92-69 plus Sunday) at Atlanta Braves (96-66); Reds-Pirates winner at St. Louis Cardinals (97-65).
Friday, AL division series openers, Detroit Tigers (93-69) at Oakland Athletics (95-66 plus Sunday); Rays-Rangers-Indians survivor at Boston Red Sox (97-65).
