Oregon coach blasts WSU’s Mike Leach for passing vs. Ducks’ reserves

There is etiquette to winning and losing, and Washington State Coach Mike Leach clearly violated it Saturday night in Eugene.
Or at least Oregon defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti thought so.
Aliotti blasted Leach in a post-game rant after Oregon’s 62-38 victory.
Oregon, leading 62-24 in the fourth quarter, cleared the bench to give the reserves some playing time.
Leach, however, left his starting offense on the field and scored two late touchdown passes, the last with 11 seconds remaining.
“I think it’s low class and it was [expletive] to throw the ball when the game was completely over,” Aliotti said. “Against ... basically our scout team.”
Washington State quarterback Connor Halliday set an FBS record with 89 passing attempts. The previous record was 83 by Purdue quarterback Drew Brees.
Halliday completed 58 of 89 passes for 557 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions.
Washington State finished with only two rushing yards.
