LA Times Studios and The Yogi Foundation proudly present The Theory of Spice, a new short film series celebrating the origins, cultures, and communities behind the world’s most cherished spices.
This inaugural creative partnership brings together the storytelling values of LA Times Studios with the mission of The Yogi Foundation, the nonprofit established by Yogi Tea.
Narrated by Academy Award, Emmy, and multiple Grammy Award–winning artist Jon Batiste, alongside Grammy winner Rizo, and featuring original music by Grammy winner Gaby Moreno, the series unearths the stories and vibrant personalities of Cardamom, Cinnamon, and Ginger.
“We are proud to have The Yogi Foundation as a partner with this project. Together we’re advancing the kind of community-driven storytelling exhibited in these films that defines LA Times Studios,” said Kristen Berke, VP of Branded Content & Entertainment for LA Times Studios.
