Live like a prince at Kauai’s Westin Princeville Ocean Resort

Make a splash this summer in Kauai at the new Westin Princeville Ocean Resort, where an introductory special offers a nightly rate of $299 for a one-bedroom villa.
The deal: The resort, which opens Friday, is offering the rate through Dec. 31, but reservations must be booked by May 31. Rack rates for the one-bedroom villas are normally $800 per night. Guests who stay a minimum of five nights at the villas also receive a two-for-one coupon for activities at the nearby Princeville Ranch, which offers zip lines, kayaking and hiking tours.
The hotel: Located on Kauai’s North Shore, the oceanfront property is 18 1/2 acres and is perched 200 feet above Anini Beach. The resort has four pools, three whirlpools, a two-story clubhouse, a restaurant and a general store. Two Princeville Resort golf courses border the villa grounds.
