John Corrigan

John Corrigan is the deputy editor of news coverage at the Los Angeles Times — his third tour of duty at the paper. He was here most recently in 2024-25 as the deputy environment, health and science editor after editing stints at the Wall Street Journal in Washington, D.C., and Beijing, where he spearheaded an award-winning series on China’s surveillance state.
