Daily Deal: Room sale at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas starts at $45

What can you get in Las Vegas for less than $50? A room at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, if you play your cards right. The hotel is offering rooms starting as low as $45 from now through February for those who make reservations this month.

The deal: This offer will work well for those who plan to spend the holidays in Las Vegas and want to save a bundle. Rooms go for $45, $65 and $85 on selected nights for a casino tower room with a king-sized bed. Tax and the daily $22 resort fee are extra, and some blackout dates apply. If you reserve by phone, use the promotion code “H0911EB.”

When: The offer is good until 10 a.m. Sept. 23 for travel through Feb. 28, based on availability.

Tested: I checked availability and found the cheapest rates for midweek stays. Nov. 17 to 21 and Nov. 24. to 28 (which includes Thanksgiving Day) show rooms available for $45 a night, plus tax and resort fee. Travelers who spend Christmas at the hotel (Dec. 22 to 27) can expect to pay $225 plus tax and resort fee for the five-day stay.
