Hang ten, dude, at new Vegas surfing pool coming to Planet Hollywood

Reporting from Las Vegas — Surf’s up at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Las Vegas, where Barneys and pros alike can get stoked for the party waves of the new FlowerRider Wave-in-a-Box Double, the first on the Strip.
If all goes as planned, novices will go from learning on body boards to standing up on flow boards and doing tricks at the new wave pool at the Pleasure Pools.
Never fear a wipeout; the surface of these waves absorbs the impact for pain-free pitch overs.
The Pleasure Pools, which just went through a renovation, feature two separate pool decks, two pool bars, live DJs, 21 all-new cabanas with poolside bottle service, daybeds and a pool cafe.
Bikini contests are de rigueur here. The pools are set to open in March, with a later debut for the FlowRider.
