Thomas V. Baker has joined Datron Systems of Simi Valley as vice president and chief financial officer. Datron manufactures satellite and radar systems used mainly by the military.

Baker comes from Salick Health Care, based in Beverly Hills, where he was chief financial officer. He replaces Kent P. Ainsworth, who became president and chief executive officer of Hale Systems in Palo Alto. Datron was a subsidiary of Hale Systems until it went public and became independent in March.
