Redondo Beach : Bus Terminal Plan OKd

The City Council last week unanimously approved an agreement between the city and the Urban Mass Transit Administration for a bus terminal at the Galleria at South Bay.
The terminal, which will be a connecting station for buses serving several South Bay cities, will be on the southeast corner of Kingsdale Avenue and Artesia Boulevard, next to the Galleria parking structure.
Ground-breaking on the $1.2-million terminal is expected in late August. The project will be funded by the federal agency.
