A Substitute For Metro Rail

I was thrilled to hear that someone is finally taking my idea serously. For years I’ve wondered why CALTRANS and the railroads couldn’t work together. Los Angeles already has an elaborate system of rail tracks in place. The city should take full advantage of them for commuter services.

An improved transit system is long overdue in Los Angeles. If using existing facilities can cut costs and hasten construction, Angelenos should rally behind this promising alternative.
