Raising RTD bus fares, while RTD management and other personnel already earn many times any minimum wage is slapping the faces of most RTD riders, who are near the poverty level.
Like the defense contractors ripping off the public with cost overrides, RTD will never have enough money. Now is the time for a responsible government to act like an adult and say “no” to a spoiled child.
