Interchange Work to Close I-8 Lane

The far left-hand lane of eastbound Interstate 8, from the Hotel Circle off-ramp to the California 163 interchange, will be closed for two weeks to allow bridge construction in the area, Caltrans announced Thursday.
Caltrans officials said the construction will start Monday, and the lane will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the week.
The construction is part of the final phase of the I-8/California 163 interchange project, scheduled to be completed in the summer of 1991.
