Garbo Claim Nixed: The Swedish nephew of actress Greta Garbo has lost a bid to share in her estimated $20-million estate. A judge ruled against his claim that Garbo was “eccentric” and couldn’t make a valid will because of a “drinking problem.” Manhattan Surrogate Judge Eve Preminger found that Sven Ake Fredriksson, an illegitimate son of Garbo’s brother, did “not even come close to establishing a reasonable probability of success in a will contest.” Garbo, who was 84 at her death last year, left her entire estate to a niece, Gray Reisfield of Milltown, N.J.
