RISKY RAILS: A rail crossing at Dale Street in Buena Park, near the Santa Ana Freeway, is ranked as the third most hazardous statewide by the Public Utilities Commission. That’s based on a combination of accidents plus how long and how often trains block street traffic. The commission’s plan is to build overpasses or reroute traffic at the worst intersections. . . . But the problem, says one commission official: “Right now there’s little money available to do much.”
