Arms Deal in Jeopardy: Ceradyne Inc. of Costa Mesa said it would likely lose a component manufacturing deal as a result of the cancellation of a federal weapons system program. Termination of the high-technology ceramics maker’s subcontract with Martin Marietta Energy Systems would result in lost revenues of $3 million over the next two years, the company said.
