Trimedyne Inc.: The Irvine medical laser company said it lost $586,000, or 7 cents a share, for its third fiscal quarter, which ended June 30. That compared to a loss of $1.9 million, or 28 cents a share, a year earlier. Sales, however, more than doubled to $2.9 million from $1.3 million.
