Cerritos : Construction Under Way on South Street Median

Construction is under way on a $122,882 landscaped median on South Street between Carmenita Road and the city’s eastern border at Coyote Creek. Work is being done by Damon Construction Co. of Carson and completion is expected in November.
Under an agreement with the neighboring city of La Palma, Cerritos is installing the median and La Palma is putting in two traffic signals.
