Health Will Take the Driver’s Seat at Rideshare Fair

In celebration of Rideshare Week, the Department of Water and Power and the Music Center will sponsor a midday Rideshare Fair, with an emphasis on health, for Downtown workers on Wednesday.
Free cholesterol and blood pressure screenings will be offered, as well as information about car and van pools, bicycle commuting, public transportation and electric vehicle prototypes.
Tickets to the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Mark Taper Forum and other prizes will be given away in drawings during the fair, which will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
