Hospital Firm to Relocate: Tenet Healthcare Corp. will move its corporate headquarters from Santa Monica to Santa Barbara early next year. Tenet is the company formed by the merger earlier this year of National Medical Enterprises and American Medical International, forming one of the nation’s largest hospital companies. The new headquarters will have about 90 employees, the company said. Three of Tenet’s senior executives, including Chief Executive Jeffrey Barbakow, live in the Santa Barbara area. After the merger, Tenet announced major layoffs and said it was searching for a new corporate headquarters in Southern California.
