Bethlehem Steel Corp. said it will shut down its last factory in its hometown of Bethlehem, Pa., cutting 800 jobs in the company’s latest downsizing. . . . The ruling may mean that Publicis’ hostile bid for advertising company True North is dead. It comes after a federal judge refused last week to stop shareholders of Chicago-based True North, an advertising company, from voting on a planned acquisition of Bozell, Jacobs, Kenyon & Eckhardt Inc. True North shareholders are scheduled to vote on the Bozell transaction today.
