The La Palma Avenue overpass on the Santa Ana Freeway is scheduled to close today for about three months as freeway improvements continue.
The closure will allow the reconstruction of La Palma Avenue. The finished overpass will be higher than the original bridge to accommodate the widened freeway and will have three lanes in each direction.
In conjunction with the overpass work, the northbound freeway ramp from westbound La Palma Avenue will also close Monday. Information: (949) 724-2077.
