Jim Heimann’s views on revitalizing Vine Street in Hollywood were welcome and show the many possibilities on reviving the area (Opinion, Sept. 6).
He failed to mention that next spring (hopefully) the Red Line Metro subway will be open to Vine Street. And, in 2000 the Red Line to North Hollywood will be linked to Hollywood, giving potential visitors and workers new, efficient ways to come to Hollywood and Vine.
