Steri-Oss Sale Complete

Swedish medical company Nobel Biocare AB said it has completed its acquisition of dental implant maker Steri-Oss Inc. in Yorba Linda for stock and cash.

As part of the transaction, Nobel said, it will move its U.S. operations to Yorba Linda from Westmont, Ill. Nobel also plans to retain the Steri-Oss management team, creating a combined work force of more than 350 employees.

Nobel becomes the largest provider of dental implants in the United States as a result of the transaction.
