Electro-Rent’s Income Up 38% in 1st Quarter

Electro-Rent Corp. of Van Nuys reported net income of $8.9 million for its first quarter ended Aug. 31, a 38% over net income of $6.5 million for the same period last year. Revenue declined to $57.3 million compared with $62.8 million.
Electro-Rent provides short-term rental and leasing of personal computers, workstations and general purpose electronic equipment.
