Re “Get the Scoop on the No. 2 Business,” July 24: Americans seem to be becoming lazier and lazier; no wonder over 50% of us are overweight. Hiring someone to pick up your dog’s waste? How ridiculous! Now I know why there is so much dog waste along the route I walk my dog--people find picking it up (a common courtesy) repugnant and disgusting.
I’m a strong believer in capitalism, but good grief!
