* Government: City, county and federal offices and courts will be closed.
* Mail: There will be regular delivery, and post offices will be open today. There will be no mail service Saturday, and post offices will be closed.
* Libraries: Most branches will be closed.
* Banks: Most will be closed.
* Schools: Public campuses will be closed.

* Metrolink: Trains will run on their regular schedules.
* Trash collection: Garbage will be picked up in Los Angeles on the usual schedule.
