Brian Ford is a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and co-leader of the debt finance practice in Los Angeles. He focuses on complex financing transactions for premier private equity firms, including Clearlake Capital, Oaktree Capital Management and Thoma Bravo. Over the past 24 months, Ford has directed financings totaling more than $50 billion across the technology and software sectors. His recent landmark deals include the $12.3-billion take-private acquisition of Dayforce Inc. and a $2.6-billion financing for Francisco Partners’ acquisition of OEConnection. He serves on several internal firm leadership bodies, including the associate and income partner compensation committees. Ford contributes to the community as a member of the board of trustees for All4Kids, a nonprofit dedicated to child abuse prevention and family services.
