As a partner at Cox, Castle & Nicholson, Katherine C. Bissett has spent 13 years representing lenders and borrowers in some of the most complex commercial real estate finance transactions in the country, covering acquisition, bridge and construction loans, ground lease financing and mezzanine structures across a wide range of asset types. In 2025, she advised on loan origination transactions totaling approximately $1.9 billion, including a $545-million portfolio financing secured by nine multifamily properties across six states and a $178-million acquisition and operation financing secured by agricultural farmland in California. Bissett served as a panelist at IMN’s Annual Winter Forum in 2025 and as a moderator at the USC Gould Real Estate Law and Business Forum Conference and the ULI Fall Conference in 2024.
