A partner at Prager Metis and a principal of the firm’s Japanese Global Services Group, Kayo M. Elkner has spent 21 years delivering accounting and tax services to individuals and closely held businesses across the U.S. and internationally. She leads the Nagano Morita Division of Prager Metis, which joined the firm in November 2020, where she serves as a primary bridge between U.S. and Japanese business cultures for clients headquartered across Hawaii, California and Japan. Elkner’s practice encompasses individual, corporate, S corporation and partnership tax work, with particular depth serving Japanese clients operating in the U.S. market. She is a member of the Japanese Business Association and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
