Raul A. Anaya is the president of the Greater Los Angeles market and national head of local markets strategy at Bank of America. A 35-year veteran of the firm and executive management team member, he oversees eight business lines and BofA holds $85 billion in consumer deposits across Los Angeles. Following the devastating 2025 L.A. wildfires, CEO Brian Moynihan tapped Anaya to lead unprecedented recovery efforts. Mobilizing the bank’s resources, he successfully directed $4.5 million in emergency grants, channeled $10 million to three CDFIs, launched innovative mortgage rebuild solutions and seeded a new disaster relief fund. A University of Texas at Brownsville graduate, Anaya leverages his deep expertise across prominent boards, including the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital and Mayor Karen Bass’ Executive Business Council.
