He has tried cases in state and federal courts while also structuring multimillion-dollar real estate and business transactions for high-net-worth individuals and entertainment ventures.

Deer is currently prosecuting a lender liability action involving a $35-million hotel loan portfolio and continues to handle sophisticated insurance and premium finance litigation. His previous experience as in-house counsel for New Line Cinema informs his practical approach to complex intellectual property and fraud matters.
