As president and CEO of The Center by Lendistry, Tunua Thrash-Ntuk leads economic inclusion initiatives that support small businesses owned by women, immigrants and people of color. A community development professional with over two decades of experience, she helps underserved businesses access resources, education and capital. Thrash-Ntuk is prioritizing climate resilience, launching the Main Street Goes Green accelerator to help businesses adopt sustainable practices. Previously, she served as executive director of LISC LA, overseeing the $100-million LA COVID-19 Regional Recovery Fund. She also led West Angeles Community Development Corporation, growing a $150-million real estate portfolio. She serves as the city councilmember for Long Beach’s Eighth District and sits on the boards of the Greenlining Institute and Move LA. In 2024 alone, The Center supported over 240 small businesses under her leadership.
