The largest hospital in Orange County is University of California Irvine Medical Center in the city of Orange with $3.1 billion in net patient revenue in 2025. It is the primary teaching location for the UC Irvine School of Medicine and the flagship location for the 1,461-bed health system.
Kaiser Permanente operates 16 hospitals in Southern California that encompass 3,789 licensed beds and generate $9.2 billion in net patient revenue. Its largest hospital is in Fontana, a 664-bed hospital that created $1.6 billion in net patient revenue in 2025.
