Founder and Principal of The Freedman Firm PC Michael G. Freedman provides strategic defense for public officials, business leaders and celebrities facing high-stakes criminal and civil litigation. A former federal prosecutor, he has successfully tried 17 cases to verdict, including four federal criminal jury trials since founding his firm in 2021.

Freedman handles a broad spectrum of matters ranging from financial fraud and public corruption to complex civil partnership disputes. His leadership within the legal community includes serving as national co-chair of the American Bar Association Criminal Justice Section’s White Collar Crime Committee while chairing the Criminal Law Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association. He also chairs the New Leadership Council for Bet Tzedek to support its mission of providing free legal services.
