Directing a premier lending portfolio with transactions ranging up to $400 million, Ronnie Gul serves as co-chief executive officer of Mesa West Capital. He has been a driving force in the firm’s expansion during his 21-year tenure, helping source and close more than 450 transactions totaling over $28 billion. He manages a conservative originate-and-hold strategy that prioritizes strong property markets and top-tier sponsors. Recently, Gul delivered $1.9 billion in financing for various asset classes and managed significant refinancings for the Burton House Beverly Hills and Broadstone Los Feliz. He previously served as president of the UCLA Ziman Real Estate Alumni Group. He successfully led the firm to originate mortgage loans totaling $879,864,500 during the final six months of 2025.
