A photo taken in #Brussels in March 2002: back then, #SNCB #NMBS Class HLE16 electrics used to haul some of the international #InterCity trains between #Oostende and #Köln. These locos were able to operate, i.a., under 3kV DC and 15 kV AC wires.

On my transcontinental #train ride back home #Warsaw -> #Brussels now. I know many people don't like #NightTrains but I admit the service quality at #EuropeanSleeper has been very satisfying so far. I've got a compartment for myself and can even choose the exact time breakfast will be served tomorrow morning.

De oorlog tegen Rojava verergert met de dag. De dreiging is imminent. Nu is het moment aangebroken dat we moeten op staan voor Rojava en voor de revolutionaire waarden die het vertegenwoordigt.

Koerdische gemeenschappen over de hele wereld staan op om het verzet te steunen. Ook in België. Ons protest wordt steeds groter. We zullen nooit opgeven.

We nodigen jullie allemaal uit voor het volgende protest: woensdag 21 januari, verzamelen om 10.00 uur (aanvang om 11.00 uur) op Place Luxembourg voor het Europees Parlement.

The war against Rojava is worsening by the day. The threats are imminent. Now is the day that we must stand up for Rojava, and for the revolutionary values it represents.

The Kurdish communities all over the world stand up to support resistance. Also in Belgium. Our protest go in crescendo. We will never give up.

We invite all of you to the following protest: Wednesday 21 January, gathering at 10h, (start at 11h), at Place Luxembourg in front of EU Parliament.
