I came across eelo several years ago. Tried it on my Nexus 5, but was not immediately convinced.
Now I am downloading /e/OS 4.2 on my #Fairphone 6 and loving both the phone and the OS!

Auch hier arbeitet ein #FP6 mit #eOS in der aktuellen Version. Die TK-App habe ich gerade mit den bisher schon im Browser genutzten Zugangsdaten installiert. Der #ePA habe ich widersprochen, Ausweis mit ID-Funktion habe ich auch nicht. Die Anmeldung beim TK-Doc endet mit einem Fehler 1851. Mal sehen, was der Support sagt.

Bei mir funktioniert die TK-App noch einwandfrei. Zusätzlich habe ich die TK-Ident App installiert.
Einzig nach dem letzten #eos Update auf v4.1.1-a16 gibt es des öfteren bei mir "Internet" Probleme (lange Ladezeiten, etc.). Da kann dann auch eine App mal abbrechen.

He estado mirando el nuevo #Fairphone Gen 6+ y sí, me encanta su filosofía de empresa y sostenibilidad, reparabilidad, su marketing está genial. Sobretodo me encanta que sea una empresa europea.
Pero, cuanto más leo sobre su software (/e/Os) y la falsa idea de seguridad y protección que nos da contra las bigcorps. Pues me enfada. Porque todo lo que yo quiero es un teléfono europeo, sostenible y seguro. Con todas sus actualizaciones, y parches de seguridad. Y que no vendan mis datos por ahí.

Fairphone has released a new version of their Fairphone featuring an upgraded Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and 12 GB RAM. The device is newly available in 🟦 COBALT BLUE as well as the previously available ⬛️ horizon black and 🟩 forest green. On the software side, the FP6+ comes with its own new gallery app (which will soon become available for FP6 users, too) out of the box. All other specs remain identical to The Fairphone (Gen. 6). The Fairphone 6+ costs € 649 resp. $ 649.
For the first time ever, the company offers their new device both in their European online shop at fairphone.com/the-fairphone-ge… as well as their ALL-NEW 🇺🇸 US SHOP at us.fairphone.com Apart from the Fairphone 6+, the US shop also offers their audio products (Fairbuds XL and Fairbuds). The company declares carriers T-Mobile and AT&T as supported while Verizon as NOT supported (note the detailed "Check carrier compatibility" information in the shop).
Buyers in the US will qualify for the same extended warranties that Fairphone has offered to customers in their European home market for some years (in the USA these even come without registration). Warranty and out-of-warranty repairs will be done in a service center based in the USA.

Release /e/OS 4.1.1 mit Murena Workspace auf dem Fairphone 6

Nachdem ich im Januar und Februar über meinen Umstieg von der Google Welt hinzu Murena geschrieben hatte, dachte ich mir noch, dass ich im Sommer irgendwann nochmal ein paar Takte darüber verlieren sollte. Bis vor kurzen dachte ich noch ich lasse das sein. Es lief gut, ich bin zufrieden und habe die Entscheidung bisher nicht bereut.
Und dann hatte ich letzte Woche am Mittwoch oder Donnerstag Abend das neueste Update des Betriebssystems /e/OS installiert. Es ist nun das Release 4.1.1 und das macht bei mir sehr viele Probleme.
Immerhin konnte ich einen Großteil der Probleme durch einfache Maßnahmen reduzieren. Ansonsten wäre der Geduldsfaden schon lange gerissen und das Gerät aus dem Fenster geflogen. Immerhin verwende ich den Workspace und das Gerät an sich für private Kommunikation. Und ich bin wirklich sehr froh, dass ich das alles nicht für geschäftliche oder berufliche Zwecke nutze.
Folgende Effekte hat das Release bei meinem Gerät und meiner Konstellation mit dem Murena Workspace ausgelöst:
- Sämtliche geöffnete Apps oder Anwendungen wurden extrem langsam geladen, teilweise über mehrere Minuten, was dann auch zum Abbruch der Prozesse führte.
- Verlieren der Google Anmeldedaten für microG
- Ausbleibende Synchronisation aller Murena Workspace Anwendungen (Mails, Kontakte, Notizen, etc.)
- Keine akzeptierte Anmeldungen an manchen Apps
Den 1. Punkt habe ich mit der Deaktivierung der Advanced Privacy Schalter behoben. Seit dem gingen die Aufrufe wieder in gewohnter Geschwindigkeit, sofern kein Anmeldeproblem vorliegt.
Ein paar Neustarts änderten nichts an den restlichen Punkten. Insofern habe ich das Cloud Konto aus dem die Murena Workspace Apps ihre Daten beziehen vom Smartphone entfernt und neu hinzugefügt. Darauf erfolgte eine erneute Synchronisation aller Cloud Daten. Nachdem das abgeschlossen war lief die regelmäßige Synchronisation aller Murena Workspace Anwendungen wieder..
..zumindest fast. Nach wenigen Stunden, besser gesagt über Nacht, trat dann ein neues Problem auf.
- Die E-Mail App meldet Authentifizierungsprobleme und erkennt die Anmeldedaten nicht mehr.
Und das ist nun also der Stand:
Ich habe das Key Feature des Fairphone Smartphones, das Advanced Privacy deaktiviert, ich kann diverse Apps nicht nutzen, weil die korrekten Anmeldedaten nicht angenommen werden, darunter auch die E-Mail Anwendung des Murena Workspace.
Ein Fix für diese diversen Probleme, die nicht nur bei mir auftreten, ist aktuell noch nicht in Sicht (zumindest habe ich bisher keine Informationen darüber gefunden). Das nächste Release könnte im September kommen, aber bis dahin habe ich das Gerät dann vielleicht doch aus dem Fenster geschmissen.
Und ich kann es nur wiederholen, dass ich aktuell sehr froh bin, dass ich die Murena Mail Adresse tatsächlich nur als Nebenadresse verwende und nicht für wirklich wichtige Kommunikation.
Natürlich gibt es für die ein oder andere Problematik Workarounds, Web Accesse, etc., aber hier möchte ich keine Workarounds und keine Bastelstunde einlegen, ich möchte einen Fix mit der Behebung der Fehler und das möglichst schnell.

@murena I'm very disappointed in the last update of e/os which broke WiFi on my #fairphone6 even more disappointing is the support process (or lack thereof) for such issues. A degoogled phone is only as good as the updates provided and the support processes to manage such issues. Talk to #fairphone I've created a support ticket for it. #eos #degoogled

Frage an die Community:
Mir ist innerhalb von 6 Monaten zweimal passiert, dass sich mein Fairphone 5 (Android 15) einfach spontan selbst komplett entladen hat. Heute morgen war es einfach komplett leer, dabei war es beim Schlafen gehen bei 75 Prozent. Das Telefon und der Akku sind etwa 2 Jahr alt.
Habt ihr da Erfahrungen? Passiert euch das auch? Hilft vll ein Akkuwechsel?
