sunny.garden/@regina_nyckelhar… regina_nyckelharpista@sunny.garden - My absolute favourite natural phenomenon (up with sunlight glittering on waves) is what in Japanese is called "KOMOREBI". It literally means sunlight (bi) leaking through (more) trees (ko). To me, it is one of the most beautiful, relaxing and grounding activity to just watch these sunspots dancing. Or even when there is no wind and the leaves just paint beautiful pictures of light and shadow. So of course, I have hundreds of photos and videos of fantastic moments of komorebi saved on my phone.
I feel so blessed and lucky that I got to see and capture an ECLIPSE version of it today. So special and so beautiful. I will remember this 💖🥹

I get that #matter is (oversimplified) trapped #light.
So there is an obvious connection between the energy of an object, it's mass (number of atoms) & the speed of light.
So my "engeneering-brain" rushes to prematurely state " E = m × c " .
But that is not what Einstein said. He gave us: E = m x c² .
And why is that. Why c² instead of c ?

Molitor & Kuzmin piece Brauchen Wir Licht? (1996) at Macht! Licht! exhibiton of political light art in Wolfsburg in 2022. The exhibition was kind of a milestone and this artpiece came to my mind when I saw another piece of theirs in Celle last autumn. Stuffing things with fluorescents, works for me!
